From the land of the Incas and the giant condor, these headbands are decorated with the bright colors common to the traditional festival clothing of the Peruvian highlands. Manta blankets are traditionally used by the native women of the Andes to carry babies and harvests strapped to their backs. Artisans of the Sanyork Studios in Lima, Peru have used scraps of this woven cotton fabric to create these colorful headbands, no two of which are exactly alike. Colors may vary slightly from the photo due to the nature of the photography and the materials used.
